I am very glad to give a speech today.The topic of my speech is the animal.I always think that animals are the friends of our human beings.They are not so complicated as our peopleand they can always bring us plenty of happiness and satisfaction.

Since I was a childI have been keeping animalssuch as catsdogsducks and so on.Sometimes I feel a little troublesome to feed thembut everytime I think about the happiness they have brought to my familyI will find that it is worth doing it in spite of so much hard working.You can imagine thatwhen you come home with your tired bodydogs are rushing at you and swinging their tails happily.That kind of warm feeling can be only brought by the pets.

Both the domestic animals and the wild animals are lovely.Howeverthey are being treated cruelly by lots of people at present.I can't understand those people.You may not like animalseven you could hate thembut you have no rights to hurt them.

Every life of the living creatures is equal.Every life of them has the right to live happily.Human beings mustn't hurt those innocent creatures for our personal desire.

Animals regard us as their friendsso we should let them enjoy their happy lives too.

It was very fine today. It was neither too hot nor too cold.He Song and I went to Beijing Zoo in the morning.

The animals were so interesting that everyone liked them very much.

We watched the bears for a long time. They were really lovely. One of them was standing and opening the mouth. Another of them was sitting on the ground and waving its arm like saying hello to us. The other two guys were boxing. We had a good laugh at it. But at that time I saw a visitor throwing food to them. I ran up to him and stopped him because some of the animals had been hurt by the food given by visitors.

All the animals are our friends. Take good care of them if we really love them.

animals are natural resources that people have wasted all through our history. animals have been killed for their fur and feathers for food for sport and simply because they were in the way. thousands of kinds of animals have disappeared from the earth forever. hundreds more are on the danger list today. about 170 kinds in the united states alone are considered in danger.                                                   

why should people care? because we need animals and because once they are gone there will never be any more. animals are more than just beautiful or interesting. they are more than just a source of food. every animal has its place in the balance of nature. destroying one kind of animal can create many problems. for example when farmers killed large numbers of hawks the farmers stores of corn and grain were destroyed by rats and mice. why? because hawks eat rats and mice with no hawks to keep down their numbers the rats and mice multiplied quickly.

luckily some people are working to help save the animals. some groups raise money to let people know about the problem. and they try to get the governments to pass laws protecting animals in danger. quite a few countries have passed laws. these laws forbid the killing of any animal or plant on the danger list. slowly the number of some animals in danger is growing.

Today i want to introduce my favourite animal Dolphin to us.

It is one of the most precious animals. Their bodies are very long about one zhang(丈). Dolphins live in the sea. They live on fish shrimps and so on.

Dolphins are very friendly and peaceful. They never attack people. Instead they have saved many people in danger in the past years. How helpful the dolphins are!

Dolphins are very clever. People often train them so that they can give a dolphin show which brings people a lot of happiness and joy.

Unluckily the number of dolphins is getting smaller and smaller. Because of water pollution there is less and less space for dolphins. Many people make money by hunting dolphins. If we don’t protect them maybe we’ll lose our good friends one day. As a student I hope more and more people should take actions to protect dolphins.
