With the development of IT, online chatting is becoming increasingly popular with many people.

However, people’s opinions about it vary from person to person. Some think that it has more problems than benefits. First, it is a waste of time, energy and money as it doesn’t produce any useful information and products. Second, it is misleading to its users because cyberspace is actually an imaginary space where things are unreal or fictional.

But the advocates of online chatting support it because it is another way of recreation which is both exciting and relaxing. Besides, it helps them release their emotions and worries freely and safely. To them, it is very useful and wonderful.

As far as I am concerned, whether online chatting is good or bad depends on the person who does it. So long as we can keep ourselves under good control, we can use it scientifically and properly without its bad effects.

Nowadays, people like to chat online with other unknown people. The number of people who chat online is increasing these years. In my opinion, there are both advantages and disadvantages of online chatting. Online chatting is very convenient as people don't need to travel a long distance to meet others. They can just stay at home and type whatever words they want to say. However, it may be hard for them to express their ideas and feelings clearly. Although there are some emotional icons, they may not express themselves so precisely. In addition, online chatting may help people to express their opinions to those who don't know them. So they can say whatever they want without considering any consequence. On the other hand, because people don't know others, they may be deceived by fake information.

Should students make friends on line?

Some people say yes.The Intemet helps students make many friends.Chatting on line,students can express their feelings and opinions more freely,and even get help with their foreign language studies.

Others,however,think students should not make friends on line.They say it is a waste of time.Besides,some students get cheated on line.

It is my opinion that students should place their study,health and safety before other things.As for friendship,we can readily find it in our classmates and other people around us.

Simultaneously the network hiding, causes certain people to use the false status to carryon the evil intention to make the friend, chats, swindles the wealth and so on. My method, fosters the good custom which accesses the net, do not have to immerse to the network chats, does not glance over the dissemination not good information, not easily and not once was acquainted with one another person appointment, attention maintenance self-control. Uses on-line chats carries on the advantageous education study, enhances the knowledge and so on.
